More...

We have been working on teaching Campbell a few signs in sign language to help her communicate with us. The first one she perfected a month or so ago was "more". It is really cute when she does the sign and we love that she can communicate with us a little.

So, here's a funny story about her using the sign for "more." We took her to the Dr. yesterday because she has had a cold for a week or so and started messing with her ears...this is usually a clear sign of an ear infection. Thankfully, Dr. G said that she doesn't have an ear infection, BUT is cutting ALL of her molars at the same time....poor baby. His instructions were to hold tight and give her plently of motrin to help her sleep at night. So, Eric gave her a dose of it before bed last night and she slurped it up like it was candy. Now....here's the problem....after Eric gave her the motrin she did the sign for "more" hoping to get another taste of this yummy, cherry flavored goo that we had injected into her mouth. Hmmmm...ARE WE RAISING A DRUG ADDICT?!?!? Just kidding :) We were dying laughing and of course did not give her more

She has also mastered the sign for "all done". The other signs that we are working on are "help", "hungry", "thank you" and "thirsty." We'll see how these go!
