Ella's 1 year pictures and Christmas pictures

In November we had Ella's 1 year pictures taken and also snapped a few shots of the girls together for our Christmas card. Our photographer also snapped some good ones of Campbell. Here are our favorites!

Cousins

We took some pictures of all of the cousin's for Eric's mom for Christmas. It was pretty difficult to get a good picture of 6 kids ranging in age from 10 to 4 months. This is the best we could do. Not everyone is looking in the same direction, but I think it turned out pretty cute.

Peaceful playing

I had to post this picture of the girls playing nicely together with the toy barn. This rarely happens. They played together, peacefully, with this toy for a good five minutes. Ahhhh...it was nice while it lasted. They are now back to their normal sisterly ways, but for a solid 5 minutes this morning I enjoyed peace and quite with no crying, hitting, pushing, or cries for mommy. It was nice and I thought I should document it. Sharing is hard to come by in our house these days :)

The Burgess Girls

Just because I rarely get to be in a picture with my girls. I love Campbell's "cheese" face in this picture and Ella's "I don't want to smile" face. I love these girls so much.

Ella updates

Ella is still keeping us on our toes and is still making us laugh. She has become a little fie sty dare devil that likes to climb stairs, face plant off of chairs and nose dive off of beds. She LOVES lollipops and is still trying to keep up with Campbell. Here are some picture of her enjoying her lollipop the other day. She also has a weird tendency to take off her clothes while she is napping/sleeping. We will only put her to bed in footed pj's these days. The other day she woke up in only a diaper. I still can't figure out how she gets her clothes off. The last pictures is our naked little girl one morning after a midnight striptease :)

Campbell's school Christmas program/party

Last week was Campbell's christmas program and party at school. It was so fun to watch her "perform" two songs with her class on stage. It was pretty funny to watch. Here are a few pictures from the day.

Disney on Ice

The Thursday after Thanksgiving Heather and I took Campbell to see the Disney Princesses on Ice show. It was SO cute and Campbell loved every minute of it. It was a really fun night out with just the girls. A friend of mine that went to the show before us told me that a lof of the girls dress up as their favorite princess. So, Campbell chose to wear her Cinderella dress...it was so cute.

Ella's birthday party...and a bug!

We had Ella's birthday party last Saturday. It was a Fall theme with owls and pumpkins. We had lots of friends and family there to help us celebrate our sweets girls 1st birthday. Ella had a blast and loved her cake (see pictures). Unfortunately, about 20 people from the party got sick with the stomach bug on Monday or quickly after. Someone must have been carrying the bug with them and boy did it get around at the party! Luckily Ella did not get it, but Eric, Campbell and I did. Sorry to everyone that got it and hopefully everyone is feeling better now!
