Ella the dancer

I signed Ella up for a mini summer session of Ballet, Tap and Tumble at a studio near our house.  She is taking the class with Jacie and both girls are loving it.  They are so cute all dressed up and I see a lot of dancing in Ella's future.  Here is a cute picture of the girls on their first day of class.

4th of July

We spent the 4th of July weekend at the lake. It was a really nice, relaxing and surprising not hot weekend. We spent lots of time on the boat, swimming, tubing and having fun at party beach. We watched the air show that the lake puts in each year and stayed around afterwards to watch beautiful fireworks all around us. We all had a great time and already can't wait til next year!

Sister sleep over

A few weeks ago the girls asked if they could have a sleepover together in Campbell's room.  They spent the afternoon creating some pretty comfortable looking pallets on the floor for themselves and beds right next to them for their babies.  It was so cute to see them get all ready for the night and play so well together.  They actually did really well!! Campbell did tell me that Ella woke her up in the morning and that she was not ready to get up.  It seems Cam was not very happy about that because she talks about it to this day.  Love my girls so much and love watching them grow up so close to each other.

Swim Lessons

Both girls did swim lessons at the beginning of the summer and did great!  This was Ella's first time taking lessons, although Ella has been swimming pretty well on her own for the past year.  She loved taking lessons and did so well.  We just did a week this year, which I think was plenty.  In true Ella style she talked and asked questions throughout her entire lesson each day.  She had her teachers laughing all week!
