Madelyn's 4 week check up and more

I am trying to be better about updating the blog, mainly for my own records, but it is hard to find the time to spend on it lately.  Here is what we have been up to the last few weeks. We went for Madelyn's 4 week check up a few weeks ago.  It is hard to believe that she is almost 7 weeks old this week.  She is such a sweet baby and is doing so great at night.  Here are her stats from her check up and some recent pictures.

Weight: 8lbs 5oz (19%)
Height: 21.3 in (52%)
Head: 14 (17%)

Last week Campbell's school had their annual donuts with dad.  She loved having her daddy at school and showing him all around.  Here is a picture of them before they left.

Madelyn-4 weeks

Our sweet Madelyn is 4 weeks old today.  Time is going to fast...I want to slow it down and keep her ity bity forever.  I just love how small she is and how easy she is to snuggle with.  Overall, she is a great baby.  She is still nursing so well and I am so thankful for that.  Her sleep at night is still very inconsistent.  Sometimes she will eat every 2.5-3 hours and sometimes she will go 3.5-5 hours.  You never know what you're going to get.  We have been struggling with how LOUD she is at night.  She grunts A LOT and keeps me up between feedings with it.  We finally moved her into our bathroom, rather than right next to my bed, last night and it helped a lot.  Once she starts being more consistent at night I will move her upstairs to her room.  The big girls are still in love with her and want to hold her all the time.  She is a very content baby and we are just loving having her as part of our family. 

Ella's first day of Preschool-3's class

Ella was definitely ready to start school this year. I am so happy that she is going to get back into a schedule and going to be around all of her friends 3 days a week.  We have been spending a lot of time at home since Madelyn's birth so I am feeling really good about her being in school.  She is in Ms. Mary's class with 4 of her buddies, Jacie, Cody, Brody and Brooks.  This is so fun for all of the kiddos and even more fun for all of the mommies.  Everyone had a great first day and I can't wait to see how much Ella learns over the next several months.
