Ella-21 months

It is truly amazing to me that our "baby" will be two years old in just three months. She has changed a lot over the last three months. She has definitely discovered the glorious stage of tantrums and keeps us on our toes on a daily basis. She still has her chunky rolls, which I love, and still has a big personality. She is a social butterfly that loves getting lots of attention. She's funny and sweet yet crazy and wild at the same time. She could not be more different than Campbell. Campbell is a very obedient child that is a total people pleaser. Ella does the exact opposite of what I ask her to do and thinks it's funny. She has definitely tested my disciplinary skills and many times she has won. It is challenging, yet fun to have two kids that are polar opposites. They may look alike, but their personalities could not be more different. Here are some tidbits about Ella from the last few months.

She throws at least 3 tantrums a day...delightful!

She will walk around a restaurant (or really anywhere) and walk up to complete strangers and wave at them and say "hi."

She had her first trip to the ER after she busted her head open on a metal bench at a splash park

She talks A LOT, some words we understand and some are still in her own language

She LOVES music and starts to dance anytime she hears a good tune

She knows how to press Campbell buttons, and enjoys it...stinker!

She has been getting frustrated easily with not being able to fully communicate...this has resulted in her hitting and attempting to bite me...not cool!

She loves to play with Campbell!!!

She LOVES the water and had her second trip to the beach in June...I still need to do a post on that

One of her favorite things to do is run around naked after bathtime

Her stuffed puppy dog is still her BEST friend

She makes some of the funniest faces ever!

Nicole said that Ella is the funniest person she's ever met...I love that...because she truly is a funny little girl

She has become a pretty picky eater over the next month or so...hoping that changes soon

At least once a day I say, "Good thing you're cute!"
